Is there a question in this poorly written post - or is there a lesson to be learned? Either way, the moral of the story is needed to be worth reading.

I am so sorry I wasted your time. The moral of the story was in the title, "Count the red flags". My 5 year LPA membership renewal will be due in the next several months. It is non-suportive, negative, grumpy remarks like this that have become so prevalent on this forum, that makes me re-think my membership. I might be better off joining another national LL organization. Thank you for making my decision clearer.

Anonymous, if you're an aspiring literary critic, you're in the wrong place. Shaun, thanks for sharing your experiences. I enjoyed your post.
