For one thing PayPal is going to cost you over 3.5% of the rent for each transaction.

Dan, if you have the money transferred for business the LL will pay 3.5% plus a fee. How do you think PayPal makes money? Every E-Bay transaction the seller pays 3.5%. The LL would be the seller.

Not true. I have had many tenants from out of town pay the background check fee and security deposit. No fee from PayPal.
