The tenant just moved out. The rental was non-smoking in the lease. However, I can smell cigarette smoke in the unit. I will get a quote from a painter to prime and paint. The repair will be more than the security deposit. Is there a way to prove that smoking was done in the unit? Any info would be appreciated.
