What are the most reasonable places to buy K&B cabinets, fixtures, etc. for remodeling kitchens and baths in rental homes? Also, best vinyl planks for high end rentals. We are in the suburbs of Chicago.

Unless you find out about a local guy you know you can trust, from people you know and trust, I'd go with a big store like Home Depot. Personally, I don't trust Angie's List. They gave a property manager a rave review who ended up thoroughly ripping off my daughter. At least a big operation like Home Depot normally stands behind their product and services, and won't normally nickle and dime you like a private contractor might.

Check and see what they have at the ReStore in your area. Sometimes you can find some really nice stuff there.
