What would you propose? - Landlord Forum thread 332630

What would you propose? by CCRider (CA) on March 25, 2015 @22:25

I'm curious. If you were a landlord and were screening tenants, would you not require a credit check? SS#'s are required in order to do that.

How would you, personally, handle an applicant who would not give you one? Based on their fear of having their identity stolen?

And to respectfully add to CC's question, suppose the applicant was asking to rent your well-maintained single family home (as in J (FL)'s situation, which we have been talking about in this thread), worth $150,000 to $200,000, or possibly more?
