I want to upgrade my laundry room with 2 Speed Queen washer dryer stack machines - cost around $3500.
dryer is broken
washer is at end of life.
the laundryroom is on the 3rd floor of the building so there is no ADA requirement.
12 unit building
i want to enhance the facilities by have 2 of these- see how it goes with this option.

regular side by side single units option would cost - $2000.

my question is should i consider the following complaints:

top dryer too high for some tenants to reach
front loader washers tend to cause mildew

Upgrading is a plus no matter what. Short people might complain with the stack machines. If you go with that choice buy a stepping stool. IMO the side by side is the better choice. Your thinking ahead of time is correct. Some tenants will complain no matter what you install. It's just the nature of game that we LLs are in.
