You fall into a strange area of the law. On one hand if you are a guest in a motel for more than 30 days, you might be considered a tenant, but on the other hand, you are employed at the motel and are regarded as an employee who is terminated. You may be eligible for free legal assistance through Northwest Justice Project’s (NJP) Coordinated Legal Education Advice and Referral Service (CLEAR).
