Hope that your squatter moves out as agreed. Otherwise you will have to evict her. You are right that part of the eviction process is notice. How much notice will depend on your state law. Look for it on the internet. If your squatter tenant does not move out as agreed, explain to her that an eviction will become a permanent part of her credit record. She will never be able to rent again, but a car or obtain credit for any other purchase that requires a decent credit score. If you do file for eviction, go through with it even though your squatter may move out during the process. It is the only way to prevent her from coming back. Be extra sure to have the squatter take absolutely everything with her and change the locks about 5 minutes after she is gone. Be sure you have everything nailed down during the move out.
