Actually, contrary to what some landlords on here have claimed, you will not be summarily put out after your small claims court hearing (assuming you lose). Tenants are frequently given a short period of time to move (more than 3 days, at least), and what many do to extend this period is file an appeal to stall the process. I'd speak to a lawyer for details concerning the timeline in your town.
