I own a condo and my husband moved his daughter, her husband and three children in, over a year ago.

This doesn't sound as if the OP was intending on being a property manager or LL. Her husband let his relative use one of her properties. This could have been just an extra home and not a rental home. You do not even know if they have had to pay rent in this arrangement so posting a pay or quit notice wouldn't accomplish anything if that was never the deal.

You assume that it was and is a rental property without any other information other than the fact she posted on this forum. There are plenty of people who post here who are in situations when they have someone stay with them temporarily or move in without trying to be a LL or property manager. At times those arrangements go sour and the property owner wants to know what they can do legally.

If you have nothing useful to post other than to call people stupid and be a rude bully that posts answers without even knowing enough of the situation, perhaps you shouldn't bother posting if it's such an affront to your superior sensibilities.
