"You do not even know if they have had to pay rent in this arrangement" Posting of a 'Pay or Quit' notice is required by Florida Law to remove someone from a rental. So that is the correct required procedure. "plenty of people who post here who are in situations when they have someone stay with them temporarily or move in without trying to be a LL or property manager". They do become landlords or property managers under the law when they enter into such situations. "arrangements go sour and the property owner wants to know what they can do legally".
They should have thought about this before they entered into the situation where they now need legal advice. "posts answers without even knowing enough of the situation" It's obvious that they had no idea of Florida State laws, nor the Condo by-laws that they probably are violating also. Perhaps you should do a little research and inform yourself as to the legal requirements that one under takes in these situations.
