I have to agree with Betty L and NFL. If my dad had a law practice that I inherited after his death, I'd be out of my mind to think I could start practicing law without first going to law school and passing the bar exam. My wife and I went to the library and checked out books, bought books, and talked to other landlords before we decided to rent one of our houses instead of selling it. Each time we have to find a new tenant, we debate whether or not to sell. It's not a cake walk being a responsible LL.
