I had an acquaintance ask about one of my rentals one night at the local watering hole. He said that I was asking too much. I explained that as long as he was working full time at a minimum wage job (I knew he was), it wasn't over 30% of his income.

He said, "well yes, but it is too much if you race stock cars for a hobby." I told him that I don't set my price based on the cost of a T's hobbies.
