You're talking about two weeks here. Legitimately since California is a literal State, just prorate the last couple of weeks and proceed with the standard move out. Legally they will still be responsible to leave the unit as it was originally rented and chances are you will be able to increase the rent to market rate and make up the difference. You have to have a little give and take.
