Get at least three quotes. Electrical projects can cost a lot. We changed two boxes for around $1500 two years ago.

depending on whats involved it can be double that. I am an electrician

    gt the three estimates and try to get a break down ie if you can do the project over 6 months in stages, ie you may need all new wires in walls and you also may need a landlords electrical box, Did mine and it was nightmare.
