I want to thank you and all the others that took the time to answer our questions. There are still 7 months left on this lease. If I rerent the place for lower rent than what is being charged now, can I deduct the difference for 7 months from the security deposit? If the difference is greater than the security deposit, can I go after the tenant for it?
