Maybe you just don't realize how much you're going through? Propane will keep you warm but it ain't cheap. Have them check the tank for a leak...my propane guy showed me how to do it myself with a little dish soap, look it up online. I would not automatically assume that there's a leak. It's been a cold winter, and that is not your LL's fault.
