The "fire & safety" might seem like the easiest way and not seem "nosey". I realize we own the property and have the right, I just want it to be a comfortable situation. And, if we find something that needs repair we can have it repaired. And, if we see things we feel might be a problem (another resident) -- we can deal with it.
