The police are not lawyers and cannot offer legal advice. You need to get a lawyer who you is well-versed in landlord/tenant law and who you can trust.
In some instances where crime is committed, and what was being done in your house is serious crime, you may be able to get the eviction expedited. You need to get professional help first thing in the morning.
