Its probably the size of the hot water tank. In my house as a kid we had a big tub that could only get 1/2 full with hot water before the tank was empty. It's that or they are morons who have the dishwasher or laundry going at the same time. Check the actual water coming out of the taps too just to be safe. It could be a defective mixing valve in the tub. Chances are they are just PITAs though!

Micah,

Funny you should say that. We don't provide a dishwasher or washing machine. One of the technicians asked them if hot water is coming out of all the faucets and she said yes. I verbally and put in writing when the day they moved in to call me or ring the doorbell if there is any plumbing or electrical issues. Or call my emergency contact. We never received a phone call or anything in writing about this issue. They have five months left on their lease and we don't intend on renewing their lease. I have a feeling they know this and want to get out of the lease. Also, we received a note last week regarding a broken key in a lock from the other tenant. She wrote a very lengthy note about breaking the key off into the lock and apologized profusely. But never mentioned anything about the water situation.

Even though the furnace is in good working condition, I am just a little concerned that may try to take me to court over this.
