Termites eat wood and destroy properties. They don't actively bite or go after humans, clothing, non wood furniture. They don't like to make homes or lairs in furniture. They like the walls and floors, wooden beams, foundations, etc. That is why your renter's insurance doesn't cover it. They are not like bedbugs.

If you want to move, then move. But you will have to pay whatever penalties the LL or your lease contract states. Most likely you are looking at about 2 months rent (or less if the LL can find a suitable replacement tenant quickly) and advertising costs.

Here's the thing, no matter where you move to, you will encounter a bug or two whether it's a couple of ants, waterbugs, cockroaches and even a mouse or two. It happens. It doesn't mean the place is dangerous or unhealthful if the LL takes care of the issue promptly and correctly which it seems your LL has done and is still willing to do.
