You should contact an attorney or legal aid for help. If the landlord treats the termnite infestation, the chemicals would be dangerous to you and your babys health. You should be able to break the lease if the infestation is a health hazzard or a building code violation. Either way the landlord might have failed to maintain a habitable rental depending on the amount of infestation and damage.

Most pest control companies now use Termidor (fipronil) for termites. It it totally safe for humans and has no odor.

If tenant is seeing termites there is a very big problem in that house.

Send off a certified letter to your landlord reporting the problem.
