Your first mistake was to tell her to refer to the lease, instead you should have asked to have the request put in writing and you would review the request for approval or disapproval. No need to get in a long conversation with her. Landlords who write letters to tenants often wind up in court defending it. It's a very bad move on your part to even think of it. Weather she moves or not has nothing to do with her injuries but weather the lease ends and the landlord chooses not to renew. Don't complicate matters by being retaliatory with a letter.

If that's the most important thing in your life is to find and correct misspelled words of others, god bless you for having a goal in life. I'm sure others realize that mistakes happen and they knew what she meant!

I was gently pointing out a repeated error in the Barb's post. …"important thing in your life is to find and correct misspelled words of others…" I am a school teacher, 37 years, so I guess it is my life's work. And yes I am blessed with many goals. Thank goodness one of them isn't ugliness or meanness to strangers.
