Transunion uses Empirica which is the original FICO score. At the end of the day a 550 credit score is an F- from any scoring method.

Empirica is the trademarked brand name for the credit score provided by TransUnion.

TransUnion only provides Empirica Scores to lenders and it differs slightly from the FICO model.

Not true in my experience. When I pull a prospective tenant's score it is Emperica. I have the report in front of me. It says "Empirica".

When I pull my report it is Empirica.
