No kidding; your rental must be a piece of crap or in a dangerous area or one of many other negative descriptions to be unrentable. And why does a person earning $100K want to live in a crummy rental--if it is so? I bet there's no $100K on his income tax return. I would have killed myself before I listened to an applicant for 90 minutes.

Agree; none of this makes any sense. Either OP left out some important facts, or this whole story is made up.
