Rental property in another state - Landlord Forum thread 335452

Rental property in another state by Dustin B. (Nebraska) on May 25, 2015 @14:37

I am looking at buying a property for rental purposes in Arkansas. My question is, if I want to put the property under an LLC, do I have to form an LLC in that state or can I use the one I currently have in Nebraska?

You can use your NE LLC, but you will have to register it in Arkansas (at Secretary of State, I believe) as a foreign entity.
