I would do the paperwork and notices needed. You cannot discriminate against those other tenants below age 85, now can you?
The responses about churches, charitable organizations, goodwill, etc. are totally without merit. Organizations are certainly not lining up to pay rent and utilities for tenants on a moment's notice.
Please face facts: This is our new USA. It is a place where big corporations and ultra-rich people don't pay their fair share, and this has caused the country's wealth to be in the accounts of the top 1%. And they think that all one has to do is pull onseself up by his bootstraps and money will flow your way. This is why we find it harder to get renters. Look for more of this, so much more.

Your response is possibly uninformedic! Why should anyone who works to earn their living have to hand any portion of it over to those who haven't had the good sense to educate themselves, develop a skill, learn a trade and make their own way? Why does anyone have a "fair share" to contribute to anyone else? I didn't tell welfare moms or working poor to go on having kids when they can't house or feed them; I didn't tell poorly parented high schoolers to graduate (or not) and take a minimum wage job to raise their families on -- why are these anyone's problems except those that make the mistakes? A little suffering serves to push people to do better, and those who aren't motivated should be weeded out naturally -- it's called Natural Selection. If we keep supporting the do-nothings who procreate at an astounding rate, we're going to end up with a country full of them and nothing worth having. I'll happily contribute to the greater good financially, if it comes with reasonable rules, like chemical castration/birth control while receiving welfare, so additional kids means a person is kicked off the program. If you pay for food and shelter, all the participants have to do all day is screw other layabouts and make more babies they can't support. How many of my S8 welfare moms have said "My kids don't need no baby-daddy, they have their Uncle Sam". You make me sick.
