In New York CITY - is landlord of legal two-family home REQUIRED to provide garbage cans and recycling containers? Can you cite the law? Thanks!

Are the containers a great cost? Will you as the property owner be penalized because your property does not have recycling containers? What does your lease say about the containers?

Why don't you just call up a NYC housing inspector and ask them? Or else the NYC Sanitation dept. They will give you an official answer to your question.
