Thanks so much... there was no pre-paid rent. It was due the 1st -- they still hadn't paid by the time of the fire (the 3rd). I know I have 45 days to return the deposit and I'll have the fire marshal's report tomorrow. I can leave it at their mailbox tomorrow if it was truly accidental.
