A landlord friend who has property in Croydon states that her licence fee is £500, but an early bird discount (1 July 2015 to 30 September 2015) can apply (up to 50%). That yes, her Property licence fee is good for only five years.

How does a landlord get a property license?

What is the benefit of a property license?

Does the landlord pay more tax when he get a rental property license?
please advise.

The information was for landlords in London, England. Do you have property in London? You might want to check your local city hall to see if you are required to have a license or permit to be legal.
