So they have 2 spaces available and are making use of both spaces, except for one space has a car that is currently unregistered. Maybe they are switching insurance companies. Maybe someone is away at college and they don't need the car registered. Maybe they just don't want to register it.

Unless they are violating some provision of your lease, you need to let this go. It's none of your business.

There is no excuse for being so nasty and condescending. I'm just looking for information. They are not the most pleasant people to deal with and I've had other issues with them, so I don't want to ask unless I have to.

There was nothing nasty or condescending about what I wrote, so I'm sorry you took it that way, but this sums the whole thing up: "I don't want to ask unless I have to." You don't have to. Don't be a busybody and let them worry about their own car's registration. It literally has nothing to do with you unless there is a lease violation. Is there a lease violation?
