I agree with you. The reason for me coming on here was because my landlady raised my fifty dollars at one time. That was uncalled for to say the least.
The average rent increase is usually somewhere around 2%. I was trying to find that percentage in writing somewhere to show my landlady.
When I had my duplex in Philadelphia, my tenants, who were ALL just GREAT, NEVER got an increase. I'd rather take a small loss than risk getting a bad tenant.
