People that don't understand Law should not comment on it. I've done almost 15,000 evictions in Florida for all types of Landlords, including corporations, LLC's, Trusts, etc. A Property Manager in Florida can file the eviction WITH the owner's permission, BUT MAY NOT BE DESIGNATED AS THE PLAINTIFF IN THE CASE. The exception to this rule is if the property manager is designated as the Landlord on a written lease. This rule went into effect in 1992.
