If you try to make it a long story, the judge may cut you short-----and you may not like how he/she does it. Present your facts, and stay cool, calm, and collected. If you lose your cool, and the tenant is there, they may just pipe up and say to the judge-----"See, your Honor, this is what we have to put up with". DO NOT get in an argument with the T or the judge. Take the high road, no matter what the T says about you. And wait your turn to speak, no matter how much you want to interrupt the T in the middle of a lie. And finally, say "Thank you, your Honor" at the end, even if you lose.
