"Just take them to Court for the dog damages. How naïve and obviously someone who has not done that. I was conned into allowing a charming individual with three dogs and 3 children. After keeping some of her deposit, I am now in court after she took 2 1/2 years before she filed in Court to get her money back. Overall, the kids tore up the house, the dogs urinated on the carpet. This was an upper rental level and she is a lawyer. Floor and Carpet had to be replaced. Even though in County Court, her lawyer, in the same office, made it a big time case and after fighting it for 1 year, I now have a lawyer and spent over 6000.oo dollars and almost 10000 on carpet replacement and floor replacement.weak moment to a conniving self serving individual. Going to Court only means that the attorneys will get paid, drag a case out to get more money and in the end they are the only ones happy. Get any money you expect to get up front and do not listen to sob stories. There are many people that are good, but just as many that will rip you off with a smile and there is no recourse. Whatever you do never and let me repeat never rent to an attorney.
