Thanks for replying.

The fire damage was over $10K which my insurance will cover all but my deductible. Tenant doesn't have renters insurance and can't afford to pay the entire damage and repair. But was agreement in paying my deductible in installments over a period of time. But your saying I should take the loss out of pocket and pay my deductible rather than my tenant pay it?
