are you renting out rooms or you renting out a property?

has the tenant paid october rent?

did you terminate possession?

I am renting out the master bedroom portion of the condo which I also reside in. The tenant is responsible to pay rent until I have filled her abandoned lease. Meaning, she has paid Oct. rent and has a Nov. rent check on its way. I do not know about terminating possession. She returned her keys, but that is about it thus far. This is my first and only rental property, so I am very new.
