YES, she can refuse to let him stay, and YES, she can "evict" the both of you if you let him stay. YOU do not have any say in the matter one way or the other. A "guest" can o0nly stay about 1 week, whereas an APPROVED TENANT can stay as long as the lease/LL allows. It is TOTALLY up to your LL if he can stay there or not. What you should do now, is have your friend fill out an application for the LL, (probably the same one like you filled out) and let the LL make a decision on your friend. IF your LL allows him to stay, both of you need to be prepared to add him to the lease, pay an extra amount towards the deposit, and more on the rent. Or be prepared to be "evicted" if you try to sneak him in, and not tell the LL.

Just where do you get your FACTS? It appears they are just made up!

There are some places that allow a tenant to add another without the landlords permission. Another point is if the lease included an enforceable guest policy or if there was one to start with. A landlord should be charging rent based on the rental itself and not per-person to avoid any likelihood of discrimination. Rent and security deposits should be based on the local rental market and not some based on some ignorant advice or opinion.

I mean really. Where do you come up with this BS. People are allowed to have guest and those guest are usually allowed the same privileges as the tenants.
