Your girlfriend may have grounds to claim that she has contributed to the home that gives her rights to joint possession. This is not an eviction issue, so you would have to have grounds to do an ejectment to remove her. You might offer to pay her to move, as this could be in court where a judge might rule that she is entitled to some compensation from you.

The girlfriend can contribute in many ways; Cleaning, washing cloths, cooking, groceries, etc. to name a few. She could own the car the boyfriend takes to work for all we know. Realize that you are hearing just one side.
You need to think outside of the box if you intend to be a landlord!
