You may need to check with an attorney on this, but I think you can do what is called a "debtors exam" That's where you soepena(sp) the former T into court, and be able to ask the T (under oath) about all their assets they have-----vehicles, checking and savings accounts, stocks they may own, 401-ks, certs of deposit, furniture, where they are employed and how much they make, etc. After you have all that info, you can proceed to garnish wages, checking and savings accounts, put liens on vehicles, etc. Once you know the exact laws, you may even be able to force them to liquidate certain things to be able to pay you off. Again, this needs to be run by an attorney for exact details.
