They are semi local from 4 hours away locals but the husband is military.
The verbal agreement if any only stated they could park the uhaul in the drive way "no lease no money no house"
Except it's a door code my guess is they put something there from being shut. I never agreed to this I said we need to meet first thing in the morning then and you can start living there then.
They are in that house 23 year olds two large dogs.
I made quite a few compromise a they have made none.
Didn't want to pay for emotional support dog I decreased that pet fee.
Didn't have the printer I mailed lease
Lastt that they said they printed and signed and then the plan was to sign in person.
They called saying gps didn't work so I gave them turn by turn directions for half an hour.
Cleaned out from top to bottom down to the refrigerator seals and baseboards.
I did everything right but trust them.
I don't expect people to believe me. When people are conned or are naive like me no one ever believes them because they can't imagine doing something so stupid.
I'm willing to prove myself with pics if need be but will anyone give legal advice or lee accusing me of lying I don't have time for that got to start a 10 day eviction I guess.

LIZA I am from houston!
Ok a key code automatic key pad front door.
I said they could park uhaul in drive way and even use the garage.
The garage door linked to house has a different set of keys.
The back door is different set of keys.
When I did the walk through I showed them everything was brand new and working order we checked flushes, dishwasher, faucets oven, etc
as far as cleanliness, I had no chance to vaccum, it fell off the ladder as i was using the dyson animal attachment to get the cielings.
that morning I warned her I was waiting on a few things, and she sprung it on me that today was the day (before that i hadnt heard any news of driving down for about 3 days)
Basically Im on my way youll have to be there, just like i put the electricty on and in my name to help her offset expenses (rookie mistake i know but it ended up being my saving grace because establishing utilities, actually would have made it harder for me to kick them out)
I kept reminding her do not forget the money, they intentially left the money out it was like they expected me to make things WORK in thier favor they are living in a DIFFERENT REALITY to put it mildly and i didnt help wake them up I enabled it now i see the red flags hindsight. my grammar is horrendous right now due to speed typing and being on a old iphone replacement until my current one is fixed.
hm what else!? Oh why and how did they get in?? looking back I do nt rmemeber it was about 7 peoiple and my guess is they left one of the guys in the backyard, and he stayed there, that or they left a window open. or broke in through the garage door.
lesson learned. Also Got a lawyer he only billed me half an hour and I can call him now anytime he may not answer but I will have gone through the process where he knows me and i can get an answer fairly quickly.
Also bonded with the officer sent out he explained he could tell they were trying to squat because they wouldnt answer the door but made sure not to ever all leave at one time so someone could always be in the house.
he told me a secret though for squatters and hope i never have to do that!
