Re: First time evictor question - Landlord Forum thread 354235

Sorry for not explaining things in great detail. "They" are the caretaker, my soon to be father-in-law is no longer at the residence. I would like "them" meaning the caretaker to move out because they have been late on rent for about 7 months, straight and now have stopped paying all together. I'm not worried about trying to collect the back due rent, I would just like them gone and I'll eat the losses. I never wanted to be a landlord in the first place and this has gotten way out of hand. I read that if I post and send via certified mail a "notice of non-renewal" that's the first step. And then they have 30 days to vacate or then I go file a landlord/tenant complaint. I'm sorry if me posting annoys or angers anyone...im well aware I'm in over my head, and paying 2 mortgages had drained our bank accounts.
