In CA these filings do not automatically appear on a credit report, nor do evictions. After we received a judgment to evict and then a subsequent small claims judgment for damages, I had to pay a company to have this information put on the tenants' credit reports. The only way to know about any small claims, UDs, etc without them appearing on a credit report is to search the local court databases.
In answer to the OP, if your tenants have done this before, they will probably hang in there until you evict. They will not pay up and move, they are living rent free right now so they won't move. You need to follow your state's processes and start the eviction now.
The tenants I evicted last November have just been evicted again from the place they moved to after mine. Some tenants are just deadbeats. Don't let your deadbeats live in your house rent free.
