Hi, We have October (last) month's rent for a tenant that moved out early, won't go into details. I can't find anything online as to how quickly that should be refunded? Thanks, Tom

There will not be anything online about it, because it should have been used as L.M.R., and thereby, not refunded. Apparently, you did not do that. Your T must have paid you Sept. rent, and you both agreed to a refund of his LMR once he left.
If the T is already gone, you should immediately refund him the LMR, because you cannot use it for anything else except LMR. The actual deposit, you have 30 days from the date the T moved out, to give him a statement as to what you have done with it, and/or return all or part of it.

In Florida, the unapplied "last months rent" is treated the same as a security deposit that's being returned in full. That is within 15 days.
