I tend to agree with anonymous about you having the keys so the unit is yours, but just in case there is something we missed - Were you unable to move into the house because of something the landlord was doing/had done or was the house available and you chose to wait until the weekend? That is, ignoring when you could get time off work, when you could lay your hands on the truck or trailer to move stuff, and when your friends would be available to help carry things; the house was available and accessible starting on Tuesday.
