When I went back to the HOA website- now the rental timeframe now says 6 mos. The board has requested that I submit a lease which begins when the last one ended ( 2 months ago) and continues for 6 months, so that's what I will do. Then I can renew or consider selling at least twice a year. They are nit-picky about everything. No beef with me- I'm current on dues and renter is a 65 yr old woman- no parties, noise, etc, and she is a great renter and pays on time.

I only want to take advantage of a market uptick if possible and have my eye on another rental property. I may be able to get another mortgage w/o selling this one.
