Yes Gary, there is a reason i didn't provide a screen door. I own 8 properties in Texas including my own home all built in nice subdivisions between 2006 -2009 none included a screen door at time of construction. While other landlords raised rents because of increased demand from "Harvey flood victims" I leased this property $50.00 below market. My average tenant stays 3-5 years. Tenant called @ 8:30 p.m. with an attitude(something you should know about) asking when am I going to replace all the screens. My question was are screens required, if so I'll replace them this morning, if not then I will work on other priorities. As a side note Gary, if lived in my home since October 2009 and never opened a window.

Maybe replacing damaged screens is a pain, but consider this. If the tenant(s) prefer to have the windows open, it saves wear and tear on the A/C unit.
