Perhaps there was a reason why they were behind? Perhaps there were agreements in place because we were trying to work with the tenant as we THOUGHT they were honest people. I don't need to explain any further than that. And your opinion of me is meaningless since I didn't ask for it.

And did I say I was going to take to SOCIAL MEDIA name call? I asked a SIMPLE QUESTION that apparently is above your pay grade.

IS THERE NO REGISTRY OR SYSTEM FOR ALERTING/TRACKING LANDLORDS TO DEADBEAT TENANTS?

No, because posting deadbeats names to a list violates the Federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA).

I can understand your frustration over the situation. But acting irrationally will only make the matter worse. I have to agree when a landlord starts withe the name calling, it turns myself off from replying. It's a sign that the landlord has lost control. Just as wanting to attack the tenant on social media. Another sign of a landlord out of control.

It's just a few more weeks till the hearing. This time should be spent getting your facts and proof together for court. Not placating revenge on the tenant. Why would you want to make things worst? Attacking others with your pay grade remarks just don't help solve the problem either. Many landlords are tried of those landlords who screw things up and then place the blame on every one else, when we all know it's the landlord who's to blame.

If you do not have legal counsel, then you should consult with an attorney to go over any possible outcomes or hire an attorney to handle this for you. You seem to be too emotionally caught up in this to be effective in presenting your case. Of course my opinion is meaningless because you didn't ask for it, but you are going to learn a hard lesson with or without it I'm afraid.

Thank you ..Someone finally answered the question.

And for the record..I didn't attack anyone until I got a smart ass answer. These forums are supposed to be for advice and/or answering questions. Not for anyone to get on a soap box and preach or pass judgement on situations they have no CLUE about.
