I understand the other post. Our lease states we supply mini blinds but the tenant is responsible to replace with new ones when they move. Or tenant can request LL remove on move in.

Just an old clause we had for 20 years. Would never actual charge a normal tenant for the 5.00 blinds we buy from homey depot.

But tenant has been a problem or going to court for damages. Then I charge for everything to make the trip worth while. And need to know your Judges. Mine dont like to give you everything you ask for. So this gives them something I will agree to if they knock the amount for blinds off.
Judges like to seem fair. And dont like to give one party everything they ask for.
