Instead of offering tenants a month off of rent, I was thinking about partnering with a moving company and providing my tenants with free moving services to assist them in moving. I was wondering if anyone else has done this for their tenants before? Thanks

Yes, but in different way. We offer to pay for moving expenses when vacating, depending upon rent being paid on time and length of stay.

And what if something goes wrong during the move? Are you willing to accept that liability?

Whyyyyy? Less is best. Keep things simple I would say. Too much can go wrong on this.

You could offer either so many dollars towards moving expenses or off first months rent. This is a good way to set yourself apart from your competition. Let the applicants choose whichever offer that appeals to them.
